Eemeli Koivisto returns to our OK-team for the FIA Karting World Championship in La Conca. The 22-year-old Fin is excited to compete in the OK-class again after a year-long break. This year Eemeli has competed for us in KZ machinery.
“I’ve learned a lot from the KZ category. I had to pick up many new things regarding driving style, race starts and so on. I believe some of these lessons are also helpful in the OK category, even though OK and KZ are two completely different classes,” Eemeli said.
The Fin has had quite a few strong results last year in OK with the team: “Last year I had many top 3 places at the heats, in Denmark and Portugal.
My best result in the finals last year came in Spain, where I finished P19.”
