MP Kartracing driver Tommie van der Struijs completed a successful karting campaign with an experience he will never forget. After winning the Karting Champions League Winter Series, Tommie was given a choice between two special prizes: a brand-new Henza chassis or an official Formula 4 test with MP Motorsport.

Tommie chose to take the next step on the motorsport ladder: the Formula 4 test.

Behind the wheel of an MP Motorsport F4 car

On Monday, July 27, the big day finally arrived. At the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Tommie had the opportunity to drive an MP Motorsport Spanish F4 car for a full day of testing.

Moving from a kart into a Formula 4 car was a major step, but Tommie adapted quickly. From the opening sessions, he showed strong pace and continued to improve throughout the day. He immediately felt comfortable in the car and was soon running among the fastest drivers in the test field.

An unforgettable experience

The test was not only a reward for winning the KCL Winter Series, but also a valuable introduction to the next level of motorsport. From braking at high speeds and learning the technical characteristics of the car to working closely with the engineers, the entire day was a new and exciting challenge.

For Tommie, it was an incredible experience and one he will remember for a long time.

Congratulations on this fantastic achievement and experience, Tommie!
